Todd Cordell: New Season, Same Old Script For The Devils

As a noted Deboer hater, I sorta eased up on the stance when I thought about how Colorado and Philly (with all the studs they have) are even worse than us. Deboer sucks but in his defense, this roster is old and fat. We don't have a Giroux or a Duchene etc.

That said, I hate excuses, so I don't know this whole post is a big contradiction, carry on.

I never thought Colorado was going to struggle this much this year, I knew they were gonna fall off some.

If this trend continues for the next two weeks and DeBoer isn't fired by new years, he'll probably be here the rest of the season, so if DeBoer is head coach January first I'll have my 2015 calendar marked for the trade deadline and draft day...

Colorado outside of Barrie and Johnson, don't have the defensive depth of Devils. Combine the two team and it's result would be unbeatable.
